border collies 2027 wall calendar

The fast, focused, almost uncomfortably intelligent herding dog from the Anglo-Scottish borders, the breed that holds the trial record at the World Sheepdog Championships and that scientists at the University of British Columbia ranked first out of 138 breeds in working intelligence in the 1990s, takes twelve pages in Border Collies 2027 Wall Calendar. The famous "eye" (the intense, low-bodied stare that the dog uses to control sheep through pure willpower) is what separates the working Border Collie from every other herding breed, and good photography of the breed always shows the eye at work. The featured coats cover the breed's full range - black and white, red and white, blue merle, red merle, tricolor, sable, and the rare solid coats. The photography catches them mid-flight over fences, in the deep crouch of the working approach, and in the quieter portraits between rounds. This title comes from Red Robin Publishing. At a glance - Large 12 x 12 inch format opens to 12 x 24 inches for easy wall display; Covers January to December 2027 with a bonus planning page featuring four mini monthly grids; Spacious daily grids with room to write appointments, birthdays, and events; Premium thick and sturdy paper, plastic-free packaging; Easy-hang design fits any home, office, or workspace; stapled binding for easy page turning. For working-collie keepers, agility competitors, and anyone who has shared a house with one of these dogs and learned just how seriously they take a job, the photography here lands on the right notes. The intensity of the "eye" comes through even on the page.
