Details

Sporting refined style and innovation-led features, the New Balance 9060 is just what your boys demand. Inspired by the proudly futuristic, visible tech aesthetic of the y2k era, these sneakers reinterpret familiar 99X elements with a warped sensibility to enhance your kids' style. The sway bars taken from the 990 are expanded and utilized throughout the upper for a sense of visible motion. And the wavy lines and scaled-up proportions on the midsole bring the perfect burst of style and energy. Elevated with a diamond outsole pattern inspired by a classic 860 design, these showstopping shoes boast classic style while keeping your kids sure-footed on every surface. A new expression of the classic, the New Balance 9060 lets your boys outshine all the sneakerheads out there. New Balance 9060 features - Mesh upper with pigskin suede overlays offers durability. Dual-density and sculpted pod midsole featuring ABZORB, ENCAP, and SBS cushioning provide maximum comfort. Tongue logo inspired by the original 991 lace jewel adds a classic, unique detail. Translucent CR device at the heel adds extra support. Bold enough for the sneakerhead crowd and comfortable enough for all-day wear, the New Balance 9060 brings serious style to the grade school rotation. Rooted in the proudly futuristic Y2K aesthetic of New Balance's iconic 99X lineage, the 9060 reinterprets familiar heritage elements with a warped, scaled-up sensibility that turns heads at school, on the go, and everywhere in between. Sway bars drawn from the 990 run through the upper to suggest visible motion, while wavy lines and expanded proportions on the midsole deliver the chunky energy today's sneaker culture demands. A mesh upper with pigskin suede overlays keeps the build breathable and durable, and the triple-tech midsole — stacking ABZORB, ENCAP, and SBS cushioning — delivers plush underfoot comfort that wearers consistently rave about. Mesh upper with pigskin suede overlays for breathability and durability Dual-density sculpted pod midsole with ABZORB, ENCAP, and SBS cushioning for maximum comfort Tongue logo inspired by the original 991 lace jewel for a classic heritage detail Translucent CR device at the heel adds structure and support Diamond outsole pattern inspired by the classic 860 design for dependable grip on any surface Size & Fit Guidance Most wearers find the 9060 fits true to size with a well-balanced feel — not too snug and not overly roomy. For the best fit, we recommend starting with your standard size; those who prefer a little extra space note that going up a half size works well. Best For Kids and teens who want a versatile everyday sneaker that works equally well for school, casual outings, theme park adventures, and light activity. Styling & Versatility The 9060's sculpted chunky midsole and layered upper construction make it one of the most versatile silhouettes in the New Balance lineup — equally at home with joggers, denim, or athleisure looks. The wide range of available colorways means there's a 9060 to anchor any outfit in the rotation. Break-In & Durability One of the most celebrated qualities of the 9060 is how comfortable it feels straight out of the box — reviewers consistently note there's no extended break-in period required. The multi-material upper holds up well to regular daily wear, making it a dependable go-to sneaker season after season.
